Fund raiser for fire victims

Not so bad

Town of Paradise Evacuation

The Town of Paradise website has up to date information on the evacuation order. If you double-click on the map, it will download a larger version that is easier to see and you can print out.
The evacuation order can be viewed at the California Department of Forestry  (Cal Fire)web site.

Yucky

Fires still burning, some blue sky for the 4th of July

Here is a great satellite photo of Northern California, courtesy of NASA. You can see the fires burning around Highway 32, near Highway 70, and all over Shasta County. It is a little difficult to see Lake Almanor, but Chico is very clear.
